Meet Dr. Rafla
Dr. Rafla attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, earning a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 1990. In 1993 he completed a specialty certification in periodontics. Dr. Rafla also interned at the University of South California School of Dentistry, where he received the recognition of chief resident. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Rafla is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Implantologists, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Worcester District Dental Society. Dr. Rafla is a diplomat of the International College of Oral Implantology and works with Spear Study groups and the International Team of Implantology.
Dr. Rafla has been practicing in the area for over 22 years and continues to provide excellent, state-of-the-art periodontal care to all of his patients. Dr. Rafla incorporates the latest proven dental technology to create a superior clinical environment. As a part of his commitment to ongoing education, Dr. Rafla organizes and lectures in monthly continuing-education meetings, including Spear Study groups and the Central Massachusetts Implant Team of Implantology group.
When not at the office, Dr. Rafla enjoys squash, hiking, soccer, and volleyball. His family includes his wife, Dr. Marta Rafla, and two sons, Samuel and Daniel.
